I am an artist and trained ecologist based near Grampians/Gariwerd National Park, Australia. I completed my P.h.D from Melbourne University and then worked for several years as a researcher in conservation, agriculture, biosecurity, and the intersection of all three. Education and outreach has always been a major part of my projects, and I have won several awards for my engaging and uniquely illustrated presentations and extension materials.
Now I work as a facilitator of Landcare and of school sustainability programs, while freelancing as an illustrator and scientific communicator, helping scientists and environmental organizations tell their story. I also run hands-on learning experiences for schools, and am working on my own series of children's books to improve ecological literacy.
Have a look some examples of my work below and get in touch if you need help telling your science story!
